Classes
The Learning Center office hours are Monday through Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The San Marcos Public Library and Community Action, Inc. offer free classes for GED, basic skills, and English Language Learners (ELL). For more information about classes call 512-393-8215.
Foundations in Health Careers Information Session
Thursday, January 5 at 6:00 PM
Austin Community College and Community Action of Hays, Caldwell, and Blanco Counties have designed a class to help prepare students for the GED and college-level training in the medical field. An Information session will be held at the library. Contact Kelly Lochman at 512- 392-1161 ext. 319 for more information.

College Prep Academy Information Session
Tuesday or Thursday
January 10 or 12 at 6:00 PM
Community Action, Inc. of Central Texas is sponsoring a twelve week College Prep Academy beginning in February. To learn more about the college prep academy, attend one of the information session at the library. The academy provides high school graduates and GED diploma holders with the academic instruction and college advising they will need to succeed in college.
