2. I am requesting to participate in the City of San Marcos Renewable Energy Credit Program. I acknowledge and agree to the additional $5/1,000 kWh (.005/kWh) monthly charge to cover all costs associated with the REC program. I agree to a one-year enrollment period, which will automatically renew unless I contact the City of San Marcos Utility Billing department and cancel my enrollment. Note: Customers will be notified at least 60 days prior to the end of each enrollment period of any price change for the following enrollment year and will also be reminded of the upcoming automatic renewal.

   The additional charge will appear on the monthly bill as a “Renewable Energy Adder”.
