2019 Annual Code Update Process
The deadline for submitting proposed amendments for the 2019 Annual Code Update process is Tuesday, May 7. The annual review process provides the community the opportunity to review the Development Code on an annual basis to eliminate vague or unclear language and ensure that the code remains current with the needs and desires of the community. Boards, commissions, stakeholder groups, and individuals are invited to submit proposed modifications to the code online at www.sanmarcostx.gov. All proposals are posted on the City website after submission and are visible to the public. The City Council will initially consider the proposed changes and select which items to review during the 2019 annual review during a work session scheduled for June 5, 2019. Staff analysis and full consideration by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council of the modifications selected by City Council will begin in August 2019.
