The building was identified in the historic resources survey, My Historic SMTX, with a high preservation priority. Therefore, the application is subject to the demolition delay for historic age resources ordinance (Ordinance 2019-41).
This E-Notice is being sent per the requirements of Section 2.7.4.3(A)(2) of the Ordinance. The Historic Preservation Commission of the City of San Marcos will hold a virtual public hearing on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 5:45 p.m. to consider the 90-day demolition delay period and discuss alternatives to demolition and methods for potential preservation of historic character of the property. All interested citizens are invited to join and participate.
