Notice of Demolition Review - 221 North Street

The Planning & Development Services Office received a demolition application for the carport at 221 North Street (Permit 2019-29699). The application is subject to the emergency demolition delay ordinance (Ordinance 2019-19) as the carport is part of a building that was identified in the recent historic resources survey, My Historic SMTX, with a high preservation priority. Staff is reviewing the request and the demolition permit will not be issued until at least 90 days have passed from the date the notice was mailed, August 30, 2019.
