The City of San Marcos and the Houston Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will host a joint news conference on Friday, Aug. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center, Room 1, 501 E. Hopkins St. to announce an increase in the Reward offered for information leading to the identification and/or arrest of the person(s) responsible for the Iconic Village Apartment Fire. The Iconic Village Fire took place on July 20, 2018 and resulted in five deaths and seven injuries, including one critical injury.
