Utility Assistance Open Sign Up

Hays, Blanco, and Caldwell County residents are welcome to sign up for utility assistance with Community Action case managers. If you are deemed eligible, you could possibly have your electric and gas bills paid for a year. Priority given to low-income households with high energy use, high energy burden, the presence of a child (ages 5 or under), disabled, elderly individuals, or veterans. Please bring a government issued photo ID, a US passport, or birth certificate for all members in the household, and proof of income for anyone 18 and older such as: paycheck stubs, social security benefit letters, child support, long-term disability, and/or VA benefits.
