Native Plant Sale & Monarch Fest

We hope you can join us for the Monarch Fest & Native Plant Sale, taking place on Saturday, October 14 from10am-2pm at the San Marcos Discovery Center (430 Riverside Drive). Shop through a wide variety of native and adapted plants, including: perennials, grasses, shrubs, trees, and organic vegetables and herbs and be inspired to build your own butterfly garden. Local partners will be on site to show visitors the importance of monarch butterflies and other pollinators that can be found in the region and how you can get involved in these environmental efforts. Plan ahead by checking our plant availability list and the day's schedule, which will be available at sanmarcostx.gov/plantsale the week before the event.
*We recommend you bring your own cart to haul plants if possible, as we have limited carts available. There will be holding area for your plants after you purchase them, so you can enjoy the festival and grounds. Staff will also be available to assist with plant questions and loading plants into your vehicle at our pickup location.
