The City of San Marcos is closing all public facilities following the Christmas holiday to help ensure that COVID-19 case counts remain low among City staff and within the overall community.
Library curbside service will continue to be available from Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The library lobby and computer lab services will be closed to the public beginning Saturday, Dec. 26, but the public may access wi-fi service from the library parking lot.
To use the library’s curbside service place items on hold through the library catalog (sanmarcostx.gov/Library), via email at email@example.com, or by calling 512-393-8200. You may request items by title, subject, or grade level. Items will be collected by library staff and you will be notified via email or telephone when items are ready to be picked up. When you arrive to pick up materials, call 512-393-8200 and staff will verify your identification, check out materials, and place them in your trunk at the back door of the new building, just past the drive-thru drop off area.
Information services by phone, text, and email are available Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. You can reach the library at 512-393-8200 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
