SMASH Senior Social - Sponsored by Brookdale San Marcos

Join us for free coffee and donuts at our SMASH (San Marcos Active Senior Hotspot) Senior Social, sponsored by Brookdale San Marcos. Whether you are new to the area and looking to meet new people, or a lifelong resident looking to reconnect with old friends, all are welcome to stop by and say hello and enjoy a cup of coffee and a donut. We will have a few icebreaker activities to get things going as well. Bring a friend, it will be a SMASH!

Step By Step Painting - Sponsored by United Healthcare

Join us for Step by Step Painting, sponsored by United Healthcare. In this program, participants are led by an art instructor that takes them step by step through the creation of their painting. All participants will be painting the same subject and all supplies are provided by United Healthcare and the Parks and Recreation Department.

Brain Training with Aging is Cool - Sponsored by WellMed

Aging is Cool believes that no matter how old you are, you can still learn, be healthy, have fun and make a difference in the world. Whether you just turned 60 or even 90 years old, it is important to keep your brain healthy and active. The Stay Smart series of Aging is Cool brings together brain training, physical movements, and memory techniques to help you maintain and improve mental functioning. Enjoy fun and challenging classes that will keep you mentally sharp no matter your age.

Silver Singers Karaoke - Sponsored by United Healthcare

Calling all music lovers, it’s karaoke time! Unleash your inner Rock or Country Star at Silver Singers Karaoke event. Whether you are a natural star on stage or you only sing in the shower, you will have great fun singing your favorite songs and enjoying some light refreshments provided by United Healthcare! If you suffer from stage fright and you are not ready to grab the mic, that is okay, all are welcome to join us and listen to the talented singers in our area.
