Virtual Reality, Conducted by Aging is Cool - Sponsored by Brookdale San Marcos North
Have you ever wanted to swim with the sharks or go on an African safari? Would you like to visit the Eifel Tower, or the Great Pyramids of Egypt? Well, now you can, using virtual reality. Try out this latest technology for free by signing up for our 60+ Virtual Reality program, sponsored by Brookdale San Marcos North and conducted by Aging is Cool. Instructors from Aging is Cool will walk participants through the process of how to use virtual reality headsets and give them a chance to experience a virtual world with a guided virtual reality session. Registration is required and is limited to 15 individuals. Each person registered will experience about 10 minutes of virtual reality.

Silver Singers Karaoke - Sponsored by United Healthcare
Calling all music lovers, it’s karaoke time! Unleash your inner Rock or Country Star at Silver Singers Karaoke event. Whether you are a natural star on stage or you only sing in the shower, you will have great fun singing your favorite songs and enjoying some light refreshments provided by United Healthcare! If you suffer from stage fright and you are not ready to grab the mic, that is okay, all are welcome to join us and listen to the talented singers in our area.

Pumpkin Decorating - Sponsored by WellMed
You are invited to join us for our first ever Pumpkin Decorating event, sponsored by WellMed. Participants will be given a pumpkin to decorate as they wish, using acrylic paints and various craft supplies. This is a free event and all supplies, including the pumpkins, will be provided by WellMed and San Marcos Parks and Recreation. Registration is required and is limited to 40.

Step By Step Painting - Sponsored by United Healthcare
Join us for Step by Step Painting, sponsored by United Healthcare. Our next class will have a little twist to it, when compared to previous class meetings. Participants will be painting a canvas tote bag, instead of painting a picture on a standard art canvas. Participants will be led by an art instructor that will help them with their designs. Each bag will be unique, as participants decorate their individual bags. Stencils and patterns will be available for participants to use in the decorating process. All supplies are provided by United Healthcare and the Parks and Recreation Department. Registration is required and is limited to 40.
