Project Update - November 2019

As of October 31st:

  • Installation of second layer of asphalt is complete. There is one more layer to go.
  • Concrete curbing and driveway installation are 100% installed.
  • Drainage infrastructure installation is 99% complete.
  • Concrete sidewalks are 90% complete.
  • Concrete median work is 90% complete.
  • Pedestrian lighting and traffic signals are installed.
  • Crosswalk at Hopkins remains open and operational with functioning pedestrian signals.

Final improvements to be made during the month of November include (but are not limited to):

  • Complete 100% of concrete sidewalk installation.
  • Complete 100% of concrete median work.
  • Complete LID feature installations.
  • Complete biofiltration pond improvements.
  • Complete final layer of asphalt.
  • Complete mill and overlays of the University intersection, Fish Hatchery Parking Lot, and a portion of the Hopkins intersection.
  • Complete installation of irrigation system and landscaping.

We expect the project to be substantially complete just prior to Sights and Sounds. We plan on opening the road to traffic once Sights and Sounds has concluded.
