Active Older Adult Programs

Objective

The primary objective of the Parks and Recreation Department's Active Older Adult Programs is to enhance the quality of life of active, older adults in San Marcos and the surrounding area. Our goal is to promote a healthy, active lifestyle by providing quality informational, educational, physical and social enrichment opportunities.

Program Information

We are committed to ensuring that our local Senior community have the resources they need to maintain healthy and meaningful lives. For more information about each of our Senior programs, click on the corresponding page located in the menu.

For those not ready to attend in-person, indoor activities, our Active Older Adult Virtual Recreation page contains numerous exercises, brain games, classes and tours for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home.

Prior to participating in a program, all participants must agree that they have read and understand the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department Release and Waiver of Liability.
